A driver crashed into the gate of a Bel Air home owned by Jennifer Aniston on Monday and was detained by private security, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and property records.

The incident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood. While police did not name the homeowner, property records confirm that the residence belongs to the “Friends” star.

Authorities said the homeowner was present at the time of the crash. NBC Los Angeles has reached out to Aniston’s publicist for comment.

The driver, who was held by on-site security until officers arrived, reportedly complained of pain. However, specific details about any injuries were not immediately released.
